![]()
Introduction
In October, 5th, 2003, Sunday, we have realized the "Birdwatcher for a Day" one more time, and now it was called "Knowing Urban Birds", at Jardim da Saúde County, São Paulo City / SP, in collaboration and partnership with AMJS (Associação dos Moradores do Jardim da Saúde), in comemoration to one more Birds' National Day.
The activity consisted in an exposicion about birds done by Antonio Silveira and a walk through the treely streets from Jardim da Saúde, when the group had the opportunity of observing and identifying the local birds.
Besides the normal finality of this kind of activity developed by the Environmental Program, at this time it also had as a main objective people sensibilization for life's quality preservation and the importance of the urban flora, showing the importance of the county under governamental trust, by the knowledge of the local biodiversity.
