CULTURAL ENVIRONMENT

What is it?

As studies about environment have been developing, there was the necessity of making a division of the subject, in delimited areas, by its own characteristics, so the areas that are into the general concept would be studied better. So the cultural environment emerged as an environment’s subdivision, that is shown above:

Environment:  “The joint of conditions, laws, influences and interactions of physical order, that permits, protects and rules life in all of its forms”. It’s also divided into physical or natural, cultural, artificial and labor’s.

Physical or Natural Environment: It’s formed by flora, fauna, soil, water, atmosphere etc, including the ecosystems.

Artificial Environment: It’s the joint of particular or public edifications, mainly the urban ones.

Labor’s Environment: It’s the joint of conditions at the work’s places, related to the workers life condition.

Cultural Environment: It’s formed by the cultural, artistic, archeological and scenery’s patrimony, and also cultural and popular manifestations etc.
