3. Birding at Itatiaia National Park- RJ
From October 18th to 20th, 2002, the NOG was at Itatiaia National Park, for birding practice.
The group was composed by 33 people and was lodged at Donati Hotel, into the National Park, and from where the walkings for birdwatching and general nature watching have started, always by the guide of Antonio Silveira.
There were total integration, with information interchange among the participants and visits to places of great scenic beauty. There were seen some rare species from the local avifauna.
