Cidade Universitária has a total area of 4.420.280,41 m2 and there are a lot of green areas among the institutes and university buildings.  There are homogen and heterogen gramming, tress, and the region of dirty camp, aquatic environment and a Forestall Reserve containing 102.110 m2.
 The result by the rising of the project "Identification and Ringing of Birds" developed by around 15 students and teachers of the institution was the catalogue of 143 birds species in Cidade Universitária (Höfling Elizabeth; Camargo Hélio F.de A. Aves do Campus, EDUSP, 3ª ed.1999)

Jardim Botânico de São Paulo (Parque Estadual das Fontes do Ipiranga)
Jardim Botânico in São Paulo city is in the south of the city and has an area of 360 mil m2 destined to public visitation. It is inserted Parque Estadual das Fontes do Ipiranga, which has a total area of 575 hectares.
Besides the Botanical Museum, gardens and heaters, there is also one of the most important urban green area of the capital, that conserves reminiscent vegetation of Atlantic Wood.
The birder have at this place good conditions for his birding because there is big local bush.
