WHAT IS ORNITHOLOGY?

    Ornithology is the ramification of the Biologic Science dedicated to bird’s study. The Ornithology’s student in known as ornithologist, and can be just a student by his own and without any scientific formation, being known as amateur ornithologist. The person who studies Ornithology and has a scientific formation (University) is known as a professional ornithologist. There is also the birds’ watcher, that is the one who makes the birds’ observation as his hobby, and uses Ornithology’s knowledge.
     One of the mainly aims and studies of the Environmental Program The Last Noah’s Ark is exactly the bird’s study, being developed observation’s works and bird’s surveys in a lot of places.
     When the work or project involves institutions or there are official character, the Program is assisted by Ornithology specialized biologists.
