ANIMAL RIGHTS

    A costume of a lot of people all around the world is having a pet animal. When they are dogs and cats for example, everything is right, because they are part of the domesticated species, being accustomed to people and living on their total dependence.
    But when we are facing the problem of jailing species that are not part of the domesticated animals, the situation is completely different, because the wild animals, when in jails, start suffering big stress, so that is the reason for the death of a lot of them.
    This liking of animals in captivity, besides showing the human egoism that sacrifice another lives, also provides the existence of illegal animal traffic, damaging the natural patrimony of the countries. Also remembering that it is done without any care, causing the death of the big majority of the animals that are caught.
    A lot of people and entities all around the world combat the wild animals traffic, emphasizing that this activity is among the most important commercial activities in the world, being the third biggest illegal commerce of the world, moving around US$ billion per year. We may also consider the million of animals of different species, from small ones as spiders to big mammals, that die and also another million animals that are took of its ecosystems and are denied to life imprisonment. Just in Brazil, the wild animals’ traffic is responsible for the disappearing of around 12 million species.
    In Brazil, the animals of any specie that live naturally, out of captivity, constitute the wild fauna, and their property is from the State.
    So, we have to try inhibiting this damaging process to the world fauna, having adequate legislation which prohibits the maintenance of any animal specie in captivity, national or international, including also a conscious process, giving example to the world community, that can be moved and do the same.
